Welcome to the Fuel Bank Foundation portal.
The total value of support for a fuel voucher application in January will be £77.
Please note that this will be issued as a £49 voucher, followed by a £28 voucher the next working day.
Application processing times
- Applications received by 3:30pm (working days Monday to Friday) are processed the same day.
- Applications received after 3:30pm are processed the next working day.
Please advise customers that it may take up to 24 hours for a voucher to be issued.
You can check the status of a voucher in the 'submitted applications' section of the portal. Please allow 24 hours from the time of issue for the information to update.
Managing applications
If you need to cancel or resend a voucher, use the CANCEL or RESEND buttons in the 'submitted applications' section of the portal. You don’t need to send us an email, clicking the button will automatically submit your request.
Please note
The RESEND option will only allow for the voucher to be resent using the same details as the original request. To change any details, please cancel the existing voucher and submit a new application via the portal.
IMPORTANT: When submitting an application, please remember the following:
- As a requirement for the funding that we receive, we must ensure financial support is only given to people in fuel crisis. We define fuel crisis as when people who prepay for their fuel run out of money, and they are left without heating, light, hot water, or with no means to cook hot food.
- Please implement thorough ID checks for all applications and make sure you are satisfied that the client's ID matches the details given in the application form. You must see evidence that the name and address being provided for the application exists, and that the individual you are supporting can provide proof of their address.
- If people are contacting you directly and requesting a fuel voucher and you don't know them, please be extra vigilant.
- Please let the client know that they will need to show proof of
address when redeeming their voucher at any shop that
has PayPoint or at a Post Office. Accepted forms of ID are:
- UK Driving Licence
- Bank Statement
- Council Tax Bill
- Utility Bill
- Proof of Benefits
Please take care in entering the correct information onto the application as we can't change the details once an application is submitted.
